Block Level & File Level Access at the same time Server or clients can access NDAS directly at a block level. Block level access allows exactly the same hardware usage of the NDAS as if it is an internal drive.
File Level Access Only Performance depends on the performance of NAS processor. Large traffic would cause bottleneck and slow down data transfer.
File level access limits the usage of storage.
